2020 NFL Draft Fantasy Grades: NFC East

The 2020 NFL draft is finally completed. Some teams made some very relevant moves in terms of fantasy football. Some others left everyone scratching their head (Yes, we are talking about you, Green Bay Packers) as they did nothing to improve their own chances at winning. I will be giving a division by division breakdown of each team's fantasy relevant draft picks and how it will impact them in the upcoming fantasy season.

Dallas Cowboys – B+

Notable Draft Picks

WR CeeDee Lamb

C Tyler Bladsaz

The Cowboys were able to get the best WR prospect in the draft (CeeDee Lamb) at pick #17, and bolster an already high-powered offense. They also drafted the eventually replacement for perennial All-Pro Center Travis Frederick, who retired this off season

New York Giants – C-

Notable Draft Picks

T Andrew Thomas

Getting the best OL prospect in the draft is never a bad thing, but its just not exciting for the purposes of fantasy football. It will further solidify RB Saquan Barkley as a top 4 RB in drafts this season

Philadelphia Eagles – B+

Notable Draft Picks

WR Jalen Raegor

QB Jalen Hurts

The Eagles made out like gangbusters on draft weekend. They were able to grab a much-needed receiving weapon in Jalen Raegor. They also were able to draft a quality backup QB in Jalen Hurts, who will be able to fill in nicely when the annual Carson Wentz injury comes.

Washington Redskins – C-

Notable Draft Picks

WR Antonio Gibson

T Saahdiq Charles

The Redskins were able to get a few WRs in the draft, which is a huge plus because they don’t have much after Terry McLaurin. The biggest blow was the inevitable loss of LT Trent Williams who was sent to San Francisco for a few late round draft picks. They did, however, draft is presumed replacement in Saahdiq Charles.
