Dak suffers devastating ankle injury: Out 4-6 months

According to reports, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott suffered an open fracture and dislocation of his right ankle in week 5. He is expected to be out 4-6 months, meaning he will miss the remainder of the 2020 NFL season.

Fantasy Impact

This is sad news for everyone, no matter who you are a fan of. He has already had successful surgery and reports are that he will be good to go by the start of the 2021 NFL season. Dak can obviously be released from non-Dynasty league rosters.

Andy Dalton will now be the starter for the Cowboys. He has the weapons to make him a mid range QB2 in fantasy, but with limited upside. I wouldn't recommend prioritizing him unless you are in a Superflex league. Zeke is expected to have an increased workload, so he remains a top 3 RB. Amari Cooper remains top 15 weekly WR. Ceedee is a high upside WR2, while Michael Gallup is a flex at best. Dalton Schultz is borderline droppable, despie how poor the TE position has been this season.
