First WR is off the Board! Seahawks take Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR from Ohio State University, is taken by the Seattle Seahawks with the 20th pick in the 2023 NFL draft.

As the 1st WR off the board. Jaxon Smith-Njigba goes a loaded WR core in Seattle, making that offense even more dangerous. JSN can play his natural position as a slot WR with DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett holding down the outside WR spots. He will have plenty of room to work the middle of the field as Seattle is weak at TE. Adding another receiving weapon almost certainly boosts Geno Smith to a top 12 fantasy QB in my rankings. JSN will start off as a WR4 in my rankings with room to go up.
