Draft Season is here! Bestball Leagues are flowing! The NFL Preseason is upon us. DraftHustle is here to get you ready to dominate your drafts and get to the money and the trophies! This is part of a series I am titling "Pump & Dump". From each team, I will be choosing one player I am high on (Pump), and one player I am avoiding in fantasy drafts for the 2021 season (Dump). PUMP – A.J. Green. WR
NFFC ADP – WR73 (#185 Overall)
NDL Rank – WR64
A.J. Green has been tossed aside by the fantasy football community, and his ADP proves as much. He clearly had 1 foot out the door the last few years in Cincy, and it was compounded by injury. He is now in Arizona with a better QB, on better team, and has better opportunity to produce in fantasy. He is currently in line to be the #2 target in the pass heavy Arizona offense, but is being as a WR7. Snag him in the last round of your draft wherever you can, especially bestball.
DUMP – Kyler Murray, QB
NFFC10 ADP – QB3 (#45 Overall)
NDL Rank – QB3
Once again, we have a QB being drafted in the 1st 4 rounds not named Patrick Mahomes. Murray is very talented as a runner and a passer, but the opportunity cost is just too high to be taking a QB in the first 50 picks of a league that starts one QB. 5th round at the earliest and only if I already have DeAndre Hopkins on my roster.
