Pump or Dump 2021 – Kansas City Chiefs

PUMP – Travis Kelce, TE

NFFC ADP – TE1 (#7 Overall)

There isn’t much to say about Kelce. He has been the #1 TE in fantasy for the past 4 years. He scored in the top 3 of TEs in 12 of his 15 games. He is already being drafted in the 1st round. He provides the biggest positional advantage of any player. He is arguably the safest and most valuable player in fantasy football. I wouldn’t knock anyone who takes him as high as #5 overall in any league that rewards points for catches.

DUMP – Patrick Mahomes, QB

NFFC10 ADP – QB1 (#26 Overall)

NDL Rank – QB1

As with most Elite QBs in fantasy, this is all about where they are being drafted. I have Mahomes as my QB1 and he is probably on his own tier, but the beginning of the 3rd round is too early for him. There are a lot of elite QBs this year, so taking one that early just isn’t a viable strategy in a single QB league. The earliest any QB should be taken is the beginning of the 4th round.
