Saquon Barkley out for season with torn ACL.

According to reports, New York Giants All-pro Running Back suffered a torn ACL in week 2 and is out for the season.

Fantasy Insight

Man, this absolutely stinks. There were a year's worth of injuries in week 2, and this was by far the biggest blow to fantasy teams. Barkley is bviously out for the year and can be dropped or placed on IR in Dynasty leagues. I 100% expect Barkley to be back to full strength in 2021.

Going forward, I would prioritize Dion Lewis over Wayne Gallman in terms of the waiver wire/FAAB budget, although neither is near the top of the list in terms of targets. Reports are already out there that the Giants are expected to give Devonta Freeman a visit, and he would be an intriguing option if he is signed. Overall, this stinks for all Giants players, and I would not feel safe owning anyone outside of Evan Engram.
