Week 11 Waiver Wire Report

Updated: Nov 17, 2020

Week 10 is finally over! None of those points will carry over to week 11, so it’s time to find the guys who will score you points in week 11. These are my favorite players to target.

(Based on players who are owned in 67% or less of Yahoo fantasy leagues)

QB

Tua Tagovailoa (45%) – MIA vs Broncos

Tua Tagovailoa has been solid since he took over three weeks ago. He has averaged over 200 passing yards and 2 TDs the last two weeks, and his mobility gives him a solid weekly floor. He faces the Broncos who have been torched the last two weeks. Josh Allen and Drew Brees owners can plug Tua in with little worries.

Jameis WInston (2%) – NO vs Falcons

Drew Brees is gonna be out for a while with multiple injuries, so Jameis is

the logical replacement if the Saints have any sense. He was solid when he filled in for Brees in week 10. The Saints play the Falcons in week 11, who have the given up the most passing TDs in the league. This isn’t exactly the safest fill-in option, but if you need upside, Jameis is the guy.

Other options

Cam Newton (62%) – NE vs Texans

Derek Carr (37%) – LV vs Dolphins

RB

Nyheim Hines (41%) – IND vs Packers

Here we go again. The last time we fell for the Nyheim Hines trap when

Marlon Mack went down, he had 1 touch the following game. This time appears to be a little different, as Hines is getting more consistent touches. The Colts face the Packers who have give him the most receiving yards to RBs and have the highest TD% allowed to RBs.

Salvon Ahmed (6%) – MIA vs Broncos

With Matt Breida unable to get healthy and Myles Gaskin on IR, the

Dolphins have given the keys to Salvon Ahmed and he has shined. He got a robust 21 carries in their last game, and scored a TD. He faces the Broncos who just gave up 4 Rushing TDs to the Raiders, so Ahmed is in line for a solid matchup.

Other Options

Kalen Ballage (19%) – LAC vs Jets

Rex Burjhead (24%) – NE vs Texans

La’Michal Perine (26%) – NYJ vs Chargers

WR

Jakobi Meyers (48%) – NE vs Texans

Jakobi Meyers has become the go-to target for Cam Newton, mainly

because the Pats have no other viable options. He has averaged over 9 targets a game in his last 4 games. The only knock is he hasn’t scored a receiving TD, but the volume makes him a great WR3 option. The Texans are a great matchup for WRs, so expect the production to continue for Meyers.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling (17%) – GB vs Colts

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been on fire the last 2 weeks, totaling 202 receiving yards and 3 TDs. Rodgers seems to have gained some trust in him, so he will continue to get the targets that don’t go to Davante Adams. The Packers face the Colts who are a tough matchup, but expect him to get some work in week 11.

Other Options

Michael Pittman Jr. (10%) – IND vs Packers

Josh Reynolds (5%) – LAR vs Bucs

Willie Snead (1%) – BAL vs Titans

TE

Logan Thomas (35%) – WAS vs Bengals

There is much to be excited about with the TE position this season. Logan Thomas has gotten 6 targets the last 2 weeks, so the opportunity is there. He has a great matchup against the Bengals, who have given up the most receiving yards and second most Fanduel PPG to TEs this season.

Other Options

Tyler Higbee (53%) – LAR vs Buccaneers

Austin Hooper (67%) – CLE vs Eagles

D/ST

Los Angeles Chargers (42%) – vs Jets

The Jets still have the worst offense in the league, so when have a chance

to pick up a defense who is playing them you do it. If the Chargers are available, get them ASAP. Don’t overthink it.

Other Options

Miami Dolphins (58%) – vs Broncos

Cleveland Browns (18%) – vs Eagles
