Week 16 DFS Fanduel Tournament Plays

DraftHustle’s Top Fanduel Tournament Game Plays of the Week!

QB

Geno Smith – SEA ($7,600) vs Chiefs

The Geno Smith redemption story has been amazing to watch this season, and I am very sad I don’t have a single share of him in bestball. He has scored at least 20 Fanduel Points in 4 of his last 6 matchups, and he gets a dream matchup against the Chiefs in week 16. Kansas City gives up the 4th most Fanduel PPG to QBs, and with Seattle being a 10-point underdog, expect plenty of passing and garbage time fantasy points for Geno and the Seahawks.

RB

J.K. Dobbins – PHI ($7,000) vs Falcons

J.K. Dobbins appears to be as close to 100% as one can be a year after a major knee injury, and his recent performance shows it. He has 255 rushing yards in his last 2 games, on a very efficient 9.1 yards per carry. In a game with a putrid 35.5 Vegas Over/Under, below 20-degree weather, and the Ravens as 6.5-point favorites, there will be plenty of carries for Dobbins, and at least 1 TD is expected.

WR

D.J. Moore – HOU ($7,100) vs Lions

D.J. Moore has been very productive recently, despite below average QB play all season. He has at least 6 targets, 73 receiving yards, and a TD in 2 of his least 3 games. He gets a beautiful matchup against the Lions, who are the second-best matchup for WRs in adjusted DvP. They give up the most receiving yards, second most Fanduel PPG and second most yards per target to WRs. Most people will be fading this entire game due to the Lions defense being much improved, making him an even better GPP play.

TE

Taysom Hill –NO ($6,500) vs Browns

There is expected to be a “bomb cyclone” that will have a big impact on the Saints-Browns game, and I expect that will be a huge benefit to Taysom Hill. The Saints are without Jarvis Landry and Chris Olave, so they will be running a lot more than normal. I anticipate plenty of QB Draws with Taysom Hill, which will lead to a lot of TD opportunities against a weak Cleveland Browns defense. At 1% projected ownership, there isn’t a better time to take a shot with Hill.

D/ST

Houston Texans – ($3,600) vs Tennessee Titans

The Houston Texans D/ST is popping as the top value in DraftHustle’s +/- model. They are facing the Tennessee Titans who will be without 2 starting offensive linemen and their starting QB. Like most games this week, the weather will be frigid, meaning a lot of running and not a lot of scoring. Malik Willis scored a whooping 2.4 Fanduel points in his start against them earlier this season. As long as they can manage to not allow Derrick Henry to run for 200+ yards against them for the 5th straight game, Houston D/ST is a solid punt this week.
