DraftHustle’s Top Fanduel Tournament Plays of the week
QB
Matt Ryan – ATL ($6,700) vs Football Team
Matt Ryan has been subpar so far this season, but he gets a great matchup in week 4 against the Football Team. Washington has given up the most Fanduel PPG (27.7) to QBs so far this season. Ryan is cheap enough to be able to hit 3x easily, and he has some cheap stacking options as well in Ridley and Pitts.
RB
David Montgomery – CHI ($7,500) vs Lions
David Montgomery has been solid so far this season, and he gets a great matchup in week 4 going against the Detroit Lions. The Lions rank in the bottom fourth of the league in yards per carry allowed (4.56), TD% allowed (4.92), and Fanduel points allowed (25.4) to RBS this season. David Montgomery gets enough opportunity (71.51% snap share) and redzone looks (50% redzone carry share) to have GPP winning upside.
WR
Devonta Smith – PHI ($5,900) vs Chiefs
Devonta Smith exploded on the scene in week 1, but he cooled off in weeks 2 & 3. In week 4, he gets an excellent matchup against the woeful Chiefs defense. Kansas City ranks in the bottom 8 in the league in yards per target allowed (9.33), TD% allowed (8.00), and Fanduel PPG allowed (35.2) to WRs. Devonta leads the Eagles in target share (22.6%) so he will get lots of chances to score in this shootout.
TE
Noah Fant – DEN ($5,700) vs Ravens
We are going with a matchup play this week for our tourney TE. Noah Fant faces the Ravens who rank last in the league in yards per game allowed (96.67) and Fanduel points allowed (17.5) per game to TEs, despite holding T.J. Hockenson to 2 catches for 10 yards in week 3. At $5,700, Fant has enough upside to get to 2x value.
D/ST
Los Angeles Rams – ($3,800) vs Cardinals
Out of the sub-$4,000 D/ST, the Los Angeles Rams are my favorite. The face the Cardinals who have been explosive on offense so far this season, but division games tend to be lower scoring. Kyler Murray has struggled against the Rams in his career, and shockingly only has 70 rush yards on the year. Anytime Aaron Donald is on the field, there are chances for sacks and forced fumbles.
