DraftHustle’s Top Fanduel Cash Plays of the week
QB
Kirk Cousins – MIN ($7,500) vs Lions
Kirk Cousins and the Vikings struggled in week against a stout Browns defense. In week 5, they get the exact opposite as they face the Lions. They give up the most yards per attempt to QBs on the season, and the Vikings Should be passing plenty against the banged-up Lions secondary.
RB
Damien Williams – CHI ($5,800) vs Raiders
With David Montgomery on the shelf for a month with a knee injury, Damien Williams gets his chance to lead the Bears backfield. The Raiders were just lit up by Austin Ekeler for 117 rushing yards and a TD. Damien Williams will have the backfield to himself and, with Justin Fields at QB, Williams’ efficiency should be improved.
WR
Davante Adams – GB ($8,200) vs Bengals
Davante Adams had a great matchup last week, but Randal Cobb was the recipient of both of Aaron Rodgers’s passing TDs. This week Davante has a mediocre matchup against the Bengals, but he will be needed to produce more in a more competitive game. He still averaging over 11 targets a game, and he will continue to get looks. $8,200 is still too cheap for the best WR in the league.
TE
T.J. Hockenson – DET ($6,400) vs Vikings
T.J. Hockenson has had 2 great games followed by 2 poor games, but in week 5 he gets a banged-up Minnesota secondary. Harrison Smith is on the Covid reserve list, so I expect Hockenson to get plenty of looks against whoever the backup safety is and get back on track for week 5.
D/ST
New England Patriots – ($5,000) vs Texans
We are continuing the theme of chasing the team with the lowest Vegas implied total on the slate. This week (and most weeks) it’s the Texans (15.5). New England did a good job against Tom Brady, although they were aided by the bad weather. Belichick dominates rookie QBs, and Davis Mills has been atrocious.
