DraftHustle’s Top DFS Plays of the week for FanDuel
QB
Brock Purdy – SF vs Cardinals - $7,700
Brock Purdy and the 49ers are going to be at full strength (minus Christian McCaffrey) this week and they get a good matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Purdy has averaged 300 passing yards a game over the last 3 games. The Cardinals’ defense was just shredded by Jayden Daniels, and Purdy should be in line to do some damage as well. As the team with the highest Vegas implied team total (27.75 points) on the main slate, Purdy and the 49ers are in line to put up plenty of points.
RB
Najee Harris – PIT vs Cowboys - $6,500
No Jaylen Warren and no Cordarrelle Patterson means Najee Harris is in line to be the only RB left in Pittsburgh for week 5. He hasn’t been very productive this season, but he has the perfect matchup to get on track. He faces the Dallas Cowboys who are banged up on defense and have been torched by RBs this year. Micah Parsons and Demarcus Lawrence are out, paving the way for Najee to put up some decent rushing and receiving yards and possibly score his first TD of the season.
WR
Stefon Diggs – HOU vs Bills - $7,600
We are riding narrative street this week at WR and plugging Stefon Diggs into lineups. He is facing his former team, the Buffalo Bills, and it is safe to say he has an axe to grind. Diggs has been very productive this season, averaging 8 targets and 6 catches a game this year. Buffalo has been the best team against WRs this season, but I expect Houston to force feed Diggs in this revenge game. HE has a great chance to hit 2x value at his $7,600 price tag and to score his 1st receiving TD since week 1.
TE
Jake Ferguson – DAL vs Steelers - $6,200
Jake Ferguson has been one of only a handful of TEs who has produced anything this season, and he is in line to keep producing in week 5. The Cowboys will be without Brandin Cooks for a while, cementing Ferguson as the #2 receiving option for Dallas. He has averaged 7 targets, 6.5 catches, and 73.5 receiving yards since returning from his knee injury in week 2. Pittsburgh is middle of the pack against the TE position, and Ferguson will be only the second viable TE they have faced. The Steelers have the highest TD rate allowed to the position, so Ferguson has a good chance to score his first TD of the year this week.
D/ST
Denver Broncos – vs Raiders - $4,000
The Denver Broncos D/ST is the flavor week as they face the spiraling Las Vegas Raiders in what is projected to be the lowest scoring matchup of the week. Denver’s defense has been spectacular in the last 3 weeks, allowing less than 10 PPG, while averaging almost 5 sacks, and 1 turnover a game during that time. The Raiders will be without Davante Adams again, and they have the lowest implied Vegas team total (16.25 points) on the slate. Denver D/ST will likely be the most popular of the slate, but they are still the top option.
