Week 7 DFS Fanduel GPP Plays

QB

Aaron Rodgers – GB ($7,900) vs Football Team

Aaron Rodgers has been consistently good, but I think this week he has a chance to explode. He faces the Washington Football Team, who was just torched by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Washington ranks last in the league in pass yards allowed per game and Fanduel PPG allowed to QBs. With other elite QBs having much higher expected point total, Arron Rodgers can slip under the radar and make a solid tourney play.

RB

Miles Sanders – PHI ($5,900) vs Raiders

Miles Sanders has been disappointing so far this season, but things may be turning around for him. He was able to average over 6 yards per carry against the stout Buccaneers run defense. He faces a mediocre Raiders defense in what will more than likely be a back-and-forth game. Of the sub-$6k RBs on this slate, Sanders has the most upside and is worth a dart throw in tourneys.

WR

Robby Anderson – CAR ($5,500) vs Giants

Robby Anderson has been less than stellar in season long fantasy football, which has lowered his price enough to make him a viable GPP play in DFS. He was able to score for the first time since week 1, although he only had 11 receiving yards. He has averaged 10 targets a game over his last 3 games, and rookie WR Terrace Marshall has been ruled out, so the targets will be there. If he is able to connect on a few big plays vs a terrible Giants secondary, he has GPP winning upside.

TE

Kyle Pitts – ATL ($6,100) vs Dolphins

Kyle Pitts had his rookie breakout game way back in week 5, torching the Jets with a 10/9/119/1 line. In week 7 he faces an equally terrible defense in the Miami Dolphins. With all of the other Elite TEs on week 7’s main slate, Pitts’ ownership in DFS will be low. Along with his talent and upside, he is a strong GPP play this week.

D/ST

New York Jets – ($3,300) vs Patriots

This is purely a punt play. The Jets D/ST hasn’t been terrible this season. They face the second-best matchup in terms of Fanduel PPG allowed to D/STs in the New England Patriots. I expect this to be allow scoring division matchup. A couple of sacks will help them get to 2x value with upside for more.
