QB

Tua Tagovailoa – MIA ($7,700) vs Lions

Tua Tagovailoa looked pretty good in his return on Sunday Night after missing a few games. This week he faces the Lions defense, who have been atrocious in all phases of defense this season. They give up the 4th most Fanduel PPG and 2nd most yards per attempt to QBs, and Tua has the weapons to put up plenty of fantasy points. The Dolphins also have the highest implied team total, so Vegas agrees.

Derrick Henry – TEN ($10,000) vs Chargers

Derrick Henry has fully entered the part of the season where he is unstoppable, and we are going to ride that train until the wheels fall off. He has run for at least 100 yards and scored at least 22 Fanduel points in 3 of his last games. He faces the Houston Texans who have given up the most rushing yards and total yards per game to RBs this season. There are enough value plays to be able to fit Derrick Henry into cash lineups. Lock him in and flourish!

Davante Adams - LV ($8,500) vs Saints

Davante Adams has been his usual elite self this season despite switching teams. He has averaged 106 receiving yards per game over his last 3 games and has scored 2 TDs. His matchup in week is the New Orleans Saints whose defense is extremely banged up. They rank in the top 5 in the league in yards per target allowed, TD% allowed, and Fanduel PPG allowed to WRs. Davante also gives you the elite upside while providing salary relief from other elite options.

Irv Smith Jr. – MIN ($4,000) vs Cardinals

Without Andrews and Travis Kelce on the week 8 main slate, we are once again dumpster diving for Tight Ends. Irv Smith Jr. is my TE of chouse this week due to his elite matchup. The Arizona Cardinals have been a perennially weak defense against TEs. They give up the most yards per game and the 2nd most Fanduel PPG to TEs. His $5,000 price tag is very cash game friendly.

D/ST

Indianapolis Colts – ($3,900) vs Washington Commanders

The Indianapolis Colts D/ST is in a dream spot this week. The face the Washington Commanders who will once again be starting Taylor Heinicke at QB. The Vegas O/U for this game in 39.5, currently the lowest on the slate, and the Commanders have the 2nd lowest Vegas implied team total (18.25) on this slate. That combined with the Colts D/ST $3,900 price tag makes them a very good cash game D/ST play.
